Join Us as an Adventure Guide
Winter season 2026-2027
We are looking for tour guides to join our team in the Rovaniemi office and take foreign travellers around the region. We offer many seasonal part-time and full-time positions starting in October 2026 and ending around March 2027. The length of employment depends on the contract.
Responsibilities
- Making sure that the tours are entertaining, informational, and memorable;
- Explaining the history, geography and culture of Rovaniemi (Finland);
- Guide for each tour in requested time;
- Driving guests from accommodation to the tour site and back;
- Prepare/ clean the equipment before and after the tour;
- Assist other works when needed.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience;
- Guides: At least 2 years driving experience;
- Guide Interns: At least 1 year driving experience;
- Excellent command of English;
- Excellent knowledge of other languages a plus (especially Spanish, French or Italian);
- Excellent physical fitness;
- Manual driving licence (preference will be given to candidates with a category B driving license required);
- Reasonable knowledge about Finnish and Finnish Lapland culture;
- First aid knowledge is a must;
- Ability to work long hours in harsh cold conditions;
- Outgoing personality;
- Strong problem solving skills;
- Good time management.
